Professor Norbert Seel, Editor-in-Chief for Social Sciences, SpringerPlus

Professor Seel studied Education, Psychology, Philosophy and History and earned his doctorate at Saarland University in Germany. His research interests include model-based learning and thinking, inductive reasoning and complex problem solving, the investigation of exploratory learning within technology-enhanced environments, creativity and processes of decision making in instructional settings.

He has also published more than 20 books, among them the textbooks Psychology of Learning (2nd ed.) and Educational Science as well as more than 200 refereed journal articles and book chapters in the area of cognitive psychology, learning research and instruction. Professor Seel also the editor of the Encyclopedia of the Sciences of Learning.
