SpringerOpen is proud to announce the launch of the International Journal of Corporate Social Responsibility (known as JCSR), in cooperation with the Cologne Business School. To mark this occasion, we caught up with the Editors-in-Chief of the journal, Samuel O. Idowu and René Schmidpeter, so they could tell us more about JCSR and give us their views on open access.

The winner of the 2014 EPS award was Dr. Ryosuke S. Asano, the first author of the article “Dust formation history of galaxies: A critical role of metallicity dust mass growth by accreting materials in the interstellar medium” (Asano et al., 2013) published in Earth, Planets and Space.

We are introducing a set of standardized research data policies that can be easily adopted by journals and understood by authors. We are developing services to support implementation of the policies and aim to have the most comprehensive and inclusive research data policy of any large publisher.
