- “I published my first paper in the EURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking in 2004.”
- “I loved organizing a special issue on Game Theory in Signal Processing and Communications in 2009.”

What has been the most interesting stand-out advancement in the journal’s field and what developments do you hope to see for the journal in the future?
- “My goal is to bring the journal to the forefront of research and present timely and visionary topics that are ahead of all the standard journals out there.”

Which major developments will impact the journal’s area of research?
- “We need tools from computer science, finance and microeconomics to discover how these (layers) can be connected.”
- “The breakthrough will be achieved if we connect physical layer parameters and their operation with the services.”

What do you think are the advantages of open access journals?
- “New ideas, which the journal will focus on, can spread much wider and faster.”
- “Companies have easy access, which brings results faster to standardization.”
