National Nano Day 2017

October 9th, 2017, is the second annual National (U.S.) Nano Day.

Last year, the National Nanotechnology Initiative (nano.gov) launched National Nanotechnology Day in the U.S. intended to help raise awareness of nanoscience’s benefits by highlighting key research—and the stories behind that research. Nano Day helps bring attention to the entire range of research at the nanoscale.

For SpringerOpen, that means highlighting the research in our nano journals, including Nanoscale Research Letters, Nano-Micro Letters, and others in our nanoscience and nanoengineering portfolios (www.springeropen.com/p/nano). Here you’ll find selected research highlights from our journals, along with a mini-podcast from Wu Jiang, Nanoscale Research Letters Deputy Editor.

We’re excited to be working with the National Nanotechnology Initiative and participating this year!
