Kate Dooley is a Research Scientist in the Scientific Research Department at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. and is interested in the spectroscopic identification and mapping of materials and chemical imaging methods. She graduated with her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Michigan in 2010.

John K. Delaney, Ph.D. is the Senior Imaging Scientist at the National Gallery of Art, where his research focuses on the development and application of multi-modal imaging spectroscopy for the study of works of art. He received his PhD from The Rockefeller University.
