Dr. Jos Leijten is senior policy advisor and former director of the Joint Institute for Innovation Policy. He held management positions in innovation policy research in the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research TNO. He studied urban and regional planning at the Radboud University of Nijmegen (1975) and received his PhD from the Free University of Amsterdam in 1991 for a thesis on technology assessment and policy.
