Yun-Jiang Rao is a Fellow of IEEE, OSA and SPIE. He is the Vice Chairman of the Academic Committee at the University of Electronic Science & Technology of China (UESTC), and the Director & Chair Professor of the Fiber Optics Research Center (FORC) and Key Lab of Optical Fiber Sensing & Communications of Ministry of Education in China. He is the founding Editor-in-Chief of Photonic Sensors (SCI).
